Leech Complains Host Makes Too Little Blood
Spotify’s CEO says that musicians need to release new music more than every three or four years in order to make a living, blaming artists for him not paying them enough money to live on. Interesting that the guy from the company worth $50 Billion thinks that all of the talent needs to put in more work and become constant content machines. Always love tech overlords who get shot in the face with a money cannon blaming the core users and creators on their platforms. The leeches on you letting you know you would feel fine if you just made some more blood already. Also Spotify currently pays out like $3 for 1,000 streams, 3.5x less than Napster, the company best known for not paying artists for their music. I actually broke out the calculator to do the math on that so y’all better appreciate it, I didn’t bother with that doing my taxes.
